Our tours were very great
Arrive in Tangier and transfer to the hotel.
After breakfast, we will begin tour of the city of Tangier and visit The Medina, The American Legation (the American Legation is located in the southwest corner of the medina and worth a look), Place de France, The Kasba, Grand Socco, and the Beaches.
After breakfast, we depart from Tangier and Arrive in our hotel in Casablanca after having lunch in Rabat. In the evening we will briefly walk in parts of the city closer to our hotel to familiarize ourselves with the people and city.
In the morning, we start our day with breakfast and then go out to see the ocean view Hassan II Mosque, The Mohammed V Square, The Central Market, Musée de la Fondation Abderrahman Slaoui, Twin Center and many more. After lunch we will visit La Chronicle beach, Villa Des Arts etc… returning to the hotel in the evening, take some rest and go out for dinner at one of the amazing restaurants in town.
After breakfast, we travel to Marrakech, a former imperial city in western Morocco, a major economic center and home to mosques, palaces and gardens. Upon arrival, we transfer to the hotel and check in. Thereafter, we meet in the restaurant for lunch and take a walking tour of the community.
We will start our day tour of Marrakech by first visiting the Museum (Musee de Marrakech) to clearly understand the history, then visit the Koutoubia Mosque (a 12th Century mosque), Bahia Palace (a 19th Century Palace Complex), Jemaa el-Fnaa Market Place, El Badi Palace… and many more.
From Marrakech, we journey to Agadir and arrive at the hotel to check-in, after having lunch we visit its golf courses, wide crescent beach and seaside promenade lined with cafes, restaurants and bars. Agadir hilltop kasbah was destroyed in a 1960 earthquake, but its original old wall remains standing, visiting the area is a great experience.
From Agadir, we journey to Laayoune (the largest city of the occupied territory of Western Sahara. It is currently administered by Morocco. The modern city is thought to have been founded by the Spanish colonizer Antonio de Oro in 1938). Visiting this city will bring us in contact with colonial Spanish influence.
Laayoune Day Tour will include visit to The Grand Mosque, Place El-Mchawar (the largest public square in Laayoune, the Craft Market (Assemble Artisana), the Spanish Cathedral, Souk ez Zaj (the oldest part of the city - Visiting this part of the city is worthy because this area has the reflection of the Saharawi lifestyle and their culture.). Depending on time factor, we will visit Lamsayad to experience and enjoy Camel ride, Camel racing and many other desert sports.
Arrive late in the evening in Dakla (a city in Western Sahara), have dinner and rest.
From Dakla, we journey to Nouadhibou, Mauritania after crossing the border between Mauritania and Western Sahara. Border formalities may last 1 to 2hrs. Nouadhibou is the second largest city in Mauritania and serves as a major commercial center. After checking into the hotel, we have early dinner and just rest for the day.
We will start our day with breakfast and then set out to see the city. We will visit the Camel Market, Central Market, Ship Graveyard (many abandoned ships in the port), Fish Market. At 12 pm, we check out of the hotel and have lunch. Thereafter, we will buy enough water and food to take with us on the Iron Ore Train Station between 2 - 3 pm… We get off the train in Choum where we will find commercial transport vehicle that will take us to Atar.
Note: The train experience will be great fun but bear in mind there is no room for comfort; the thought that you are riding one of the worst trains on earth is the purpose.
Arrive at the hotel in Atar and check in, wash of the dust from the train ride and meet in the restaurant for Lunch. Thereafter, we visit the market of Atar and other historic places.
Depart from Atar and arrive in Akjoujt for Lunch; take off after lunch to reach Nouakchott before end of light and transfer to the hotel. Nouakchott is the capital and largest city of Mauritania. It is one of the largest cities in the Sahara.
Nouakchott day tour will include a visit to the National Museum where we will be taught all about the culture and the history of the people of Mauritania, and then we go to the fishing port (Port de Pech), Saudi Mosque, the Market (Marche Capitale), Centre Culturel Français (the French Cultural Center), Artisanal (Art Center), Galerie Zeinat and more..
Today, we part our separate ways and head back home or continue our vacation to other destinations.
