During the Bamako day tour, you will visit the National Museum of Mali, Grand Mosque de Bamako, Mali National Park, Bamako Zoo, Monument of Independence, Luna Park, Modibo Keita Memorial and the Grand Marche (Big Market) etc...
You will journey to Kankan, one of the oldest cities in Guinea. Kankan was a very important city when the region was ruled by a ruthless king, Samori Toure. Now it’s struggling to be a modern city. Kanka is one of the largest Malinke city in West Africa. There is much to remind us of the formal Mali Empire.
Early in the morning, we leave for Labe, the capital city of Fouta Djallon - a region dominated by the Foulani people. The Foulanies are the largest ethnic group in Guinea and one of the largest in West Africa.
You will visit the Chutes de Saala, Villa Sili (Old Residence of French colonial Governor), Maison des Artisans (Interesting place buy and or watch locally made crafts such as indigo cloth, leather sandals), Case a Palabres (an impressive large meeting har that was once used by village elders), Chutes du Kinkon (tall and narrow close to a large hydroelectric plant but very beautiful. Petite Musee du Fouta Djallon (this is where you learn about the Fulani beautiful culture.)
Travel from Fouta Djallon to Conakry; enjoy view of the amazing landscape on the way.
